What's included
Every sheet is a full page of cut-out cards framed by dashed guides that never cross the text. Double-sided cards come as a front page and a back page, and the backs are mirrored left-to-right on purpose: when you print two-sided and flip on the long edge, each answer lands directly behind its own front. Single-sided fold-over cards put the front and the back in one cell with a fold line between them, so you cut, then fold. Long terms shrink and wrap inside the card instead of running off it, and the same cards render identically on US Letter and A4. There is no card cap beyond what fits the pages.
Tips for using flashcards
- Print on cardstock, or glue the front and back pages back-to-back before cutting, for cards that survive a backpack.
- Start a multiplication deck with one table at a time — nine cards of the sixes — rather than all 66 facts at once. Add the next table as the last is mastered.
- For a duplex printer, set two-sided printing to flip on the long edge. That is what lines the backs up; the short-edge setting flips them upside down.
- No duplex printer? Use the fold-over option — it needs only a single-sided print, and the back is rotated so it reads the right way up once folded.
- For a spelling list, put the word on the front and its meaning on the back, and quiz in both directions across the week.
- Larger 2 × 2 cards work as a wall display; 3 × 3 cards make a compact deck a child can hold in one hand.

Cards per page
2 × 2 (four large cards), 2 × 4 (eight medium cards), or 3 × 3 (nine small cards). Switching the grid keeps the same cards and just re-lays them out, so you can print the same set at two sizes.
Single- or double-sided
Double-sided (duplex) gives a front page and a mirrored back page for a two-sided print. Single-sided fold-over puts front and back in one cell with a fold line, so any printer can make two-sided cards.
Your own cards
One card per line, written as front = back. Leave off the = back for a plain single-word card. A spelling list, a unit's vocabulary, foreign-language words — anything you type stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
Paper size
US Letter (8.5 × 11 inches) or A4 (210 × 297 mm). The grid is recomputed to fit whichever sheet you choose, so nothing is stretched or clipped.

How do I print flashcards double-sided so the backs line up?
Choose the double-sided (duplex) option and print the PDF with two-sided printing set to flip on the long edge — the default for almost every printer. The back page is mirrored left-to-right on purpose, so once you print both sides and cut, each answer lands directly behind its own front. If your printer flips on the short edge instead, switch that setting to long edge and reprint.
Can I make single-sided flashcards without a duplex printer?

How do I cut out the flashcards?
Every card is framed by a dashed cut guide, and the guides never cross the text. Cut along the dashed lines with scissors or a paper trimmer. For sturdier cards, print on cardstock or glue the front and back pages back-to-back before cutting.
Will I get the same flashcards if I come back?
Yes. Each combination of options always produces the same cards in the same order, so you can print a set today and an identical set next week. Switching the grid or the sides deliberately keeps the same cards and just re-lays them out.
